Wedding took place in Glenbrook,NV (Lake Tahoe Private Estate area on the east side of the lake)
Elevation at 6,250 feet. Saturday, September 15, 2012- Setting of ceremony was outside on a back yard bluff lined with aspen trees that hung with golden green hues with a perfect view of Lake Tahoe glistening waters. The Sierra sun made perfect tempatures while the fall breeze made the kites dance along the beach of many colors of the rainbow. Ceremony had blankets and benches for a very casual feeling.
The wedding ceremony was the true meaning of coming together as one with a multiculural of traditions that played into the ceremony gracefully. Bride escorted by her father with melody played from a Bag Pipe. Readings from the bible of Song of Solomon 2:10 -13 8:6-7, Hindi Song "When I see your sparkling eys, I don't see the stars at all- When I get your helping hand- I don't need the world at all" Plus a reading from William Shakespeare of Sonnet 21 on the TRUTH of LOVE. Dedication organ music City of Gods composed by Leo Sowerby in 1956 - In commemoration of the 150th anniversary of St. James Church, Batavia, New York and dedicatred to Roger Bommer (brides grandfather).

The couple: diplomats who met flying to Afghanistan with the late legendary diplomat Richard
Holbrooke and then Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mike Mullen; worked in and out of
Afghanistan and Pakistan for years, only later fell in love after both had left the State Dept.
