I say Nevada and you think Las Vegas, right? Las Vegas is a cool place – I would even have to say my newest favorite place is the Cosmopolitan. Off the hook!

But, I have to tell you about a place that is tucked away in Northern Nevada. It’s the greenest spot in Nevada and ONLY a  7 hour drive North from Las Vegas cruising about 70 miles per hour.

Here in Northern Nevada we have a lot to offer!  I mean Las Vegas has incredible buildings but it CAN NOT build the Sierra mountain range that nestles a beautiful treasure called Lake Tahoe. Right at the foothills of the Sierra Mountains is the Carson Valley.  This place is called “Garden Spot of Nevada”

Summer daytime temperatures range up to the low 90s, with often less than 15% humidity, allowing for comfortable outdoor activities. Most summer rain comes as brief thunderstorms or showers in the late afternoon. Nighttime temps can often be as much as 45 degrees cooler, making for very comfortable evenings.

Here is the Dangberg Ranch in the beautiful Carson Valley the view can not be beaten! These place is perfect for Rustic, Shabby Chic, Country style weddings. Plus the venue rental is very reasonable.
